On No Country For Old Men

Possibly more polarizing then the fans of the film that felt no contradiction in praising the film while disliking its ending compared to those that approved of the film whole-heartedly, is the issue expressed over whether or not the film should have been made no matter how pertinent the story being told was and is.

That being said, maybe for the first time in a long time, the Oscar-winning best picture is a movie that not everyone wanted to see (whether or not they saw it) and not in an English Patient kind of way.
