In level 1-1 of the Nintendo video game Super Mario Bros., you can find a fireflower early in the level by hitting a certain question mark block with your head. This magic flower will give you the ability to throw fireballs by pressing the B button. The fireballs have the power to destroy opponents. It will take more than one fireball to defeat the boss at the end of each world. Be sure to have already gotten the mushroom at the beginning of the level, transforming you into super Mario. If you have not already found the mushroom, the fireflower will not be there. It will be a mushroom instead.
